Chemical Dependency Counselor

I am Chris Raymond a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I). I spent the first 7 seven years of my career at Ladder 33 on the C-shift and moved to Platform 51 on the A-shift in 2010 when Rescue opened a second station. Firefighting has prepared me to enter the helping professions with keen eyes and an empathetic heart. I have received substance abuse counselor certifications from San Antonio College and earned an intern’s license from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

 

This substance abuse program is designed for us and our families. One-on-one counseling, group therapy, education and resources are available to firefighters and the people that reside within their households. This is non-punitive and completely confidential.
